ESP Projects Ltd was created back in 2002 with a mission to provide high quality, low cost ICT support. We saw that far too many organisations were either being milked by private sector IT firms overcharging and under-supporting their customers or (just as frequently) they relied on unsustainable short term-fixes, subsidised services or well-meaning but temporary volunteers. And we have been proved right – countless organisations have switched to our fixed-fee unlimited support contract and we priced it fairly enough to ensure that it was affordable whilst guaranteeing that we are still here, still supporting you and still growing, even gaining awards, 7 years later.

As a result, we have we outlasted many of the ‘dodgier’ private businesses as well as numerous funded IT support programs and projects. The economic downturn threatens all of this. In a climate where every cost is scrutinised and budgets are necessarily cut, we have to justify ourselves and our charges. Clearly we hope that we have done enough service-wise to retain your trust but we also think that there has never been a better time to take out or renew an ESP Contract., and here’s why:

  • An ESP support contract means you can budget effectively for IT support – you don’t have to find money part way through the year to address issues arising. Talk to us too about paying monthly at no extra charge.
  • With ESP, you don’t pay more to solve protracted or complex issues. If something goes wrong, you are covered for the fix no matter how long it takes. The most severe issues always take longer – don’t get caught with the double-whammy of failing IT and spiralling costs!
  • Many competitors offer a time-limited contract. Don’t forget that there is no incentive for them to resolve issues quickly or permanently – they will get paid more if things take longer or recur. With our unlimited contract we have every reason to deal effectively with your issues – we only make money if we can successfully reduce the number of things going wrong!
  • The contract covers you for advice and guidance on making changes to your system – if you need to cut back or work differently as a result of changing circumstances, just let us know!
  • We keep your mission critical systems running behind the scenes – we monitor your purchases, passwords, licensing, antivirus, backup and domain hosting for you wherever possible. This is vital for effective IT management, and letting it slip will only store up problems and hide costs.
  • We can SAVE you money – with our wide-ranging experience we can often advise on discounted or low-cost solutions that are better than higher priced alternatives.
  • Our contract and labour fees have not risen in real terms (i.e. accounting for inflation) in the last 3 years and if you compare our charges with – for example – the annual cost of having an office cleaned, we think we are excellent value for money. Contract customers can always ask for a Value For Money report, which contains the detail of how much you have used our services.
  • Finally and most importantly, we are here for the long term! Our funding will never dry up because we are sustained from self-generated income. ESP has made a surplus in all but one of the last 7 years (2004 being the exception), and maintained investment in staff, training and service delivery throughout.
