Statement from ESP on Recent Email Problems at Fasthosts ESP would like to apologise on behalf of Fasthosts to all customers affected by the specific issue of delays or lack of access to email on 24th November 2009. Customers are advised that this is not the first time Fasthosts email platform has failed recently despite assurances that it would not happen again. Many will understandably be considering moving away from Fasthosts. ESP too is frustrated and angry that we are once again in the firing line for a problem this is not of our making, and which we have no control over. We are happy therefore for clients to leave Fasthosts. Any ESP customers wishing to change or migrate their services to a different provider therefore will be assisted to do so free of labour charges as a gesture of goodwill (NOTE: service charges from the new provider may still apply). ESP cannot however change, move or cancel services without first discussing with the owner of the service. We are therefore writing to all customers using Fasthosts domain services this week to explain the full context of this issue and what their individual options going forward are.
