‘Team ESP’ – a group of 7 dedicated canoeists - braved camping in the freezing weather and driving rain earlier in October to raise over £800 for charity at Endeavour Trainings Canoe Challenge. Regular Newsbolt readers will know that ESP staff and others have been practising for the 33 mile endurance race at Victoria Quays for the last 6 weeks. The event was a genuine challenge with the team spending a total of 9.5 hours canoeing, driving, running and navigating – not bad on just a few hours sleep! Indeed such was the success of our efforts that we won the prize for the fastest novice team! MD Morgan Killick also won the prize for most money raised by a novice individual.
