Southey and Owlerton Area Regeneration is a community-led regeneration partnership in north Sheffield. SOAR was set up in 1999 to help revitalise neighbourhoods in the north of Sheffield: Foxhill, Longley, Hillsborough, Winn Gardens, Parson Cross, Shirecliffe and Southey.
SOAR's website design is an example of the Joomla Content Management System, making it easy for their own staff to add/update News, Events, Pictures etc with little or no web design skills or prior technical knowledge. |

The Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre in Sheffield is a vibrant community-led project, for the long-term holistic health improvement of local people. Helping to ensure social inclusion and reducing health inequalities in Sheffield.
UHLC's website is another example of the Joomla Content Management System. Joomla makes it easy for UHLC staff to manage their website and keep it up to date, without needing specialist web design skills.
This website design also features a custom made Timetable Management System. This allows UHLC staff to easily add, edit or remove timetable sessions. These changes will automatically show in the published timetables, again with no graphic design or layout work needed. |

Social Enterprise Yorkshire and the Humber (SEYH) is a not for profit company established to represent, promote and drive forward the development of the social enterprise sector in Yorkshire and the Humber.
SEYH's website is designed to be easy for them to update and maintain themselves. The Joomla Content Management System makes it easy for their own staff to add/update News, Events, Pictures etc with little or no web design skills.
The website design also features a Directory of Social Enterprises. The public can browse the directory, search for a social enterprise meeting specific criteria or view a map of social enterprises in the region. Members can register online and create/update the profile for their organisation. SEYH itself uses the directory to collect information about social enterprise in the region to support their work as an infrastucture organisation. |
