Sharrow Community Forum is a community development trust working with the local community to improve services, bring people together, build the community's voice, and generally make the local community a better place to live.

They also sell a range of bandswa blades and machine knives as well as offering specialist cutting services.

Southey and Owlerton Area Regeneration is a community-led regeneration partnership in north Sheffield. SOAR was set up in 1999 to help revitalise neighbourhoods in the north of Sheffield: Foxhill, Longley, Hillsborough, Winn Gardens, Parson Cross, Shirecliffe and Southey.

SOAR's website design is another example of the award winning Joomla Content Management System, this makes it easy for SOAR staff to manage and update the website themselves. SOAR make great use of this ability to provide an always informative and up to date website.

The Northern Refugee Centre aims to improve the conditions of and opportunities for refugees and asylum seekers. They are based in Sheffield but work across Yorkshire and Humberside.

NRC's website also uses the Joomla Content Management System, with custom software modifications for their specific requirements. The website design enables their staff and partners to manage their own sections of the website, with little or no web design skills or technical knowledge.

Social Enterprise Yorkshire and the Humber (SEYH) is a not for profit company established to represent, promote and drive forward the development of the social enterprise sector in Yorkshire and the Humber.

SEYH's website is designed to be easy for them to update and maintain themselves. The Joomla Content Management System makes it easy for their own staff to do this.

The website design also features a searchable Directory of Social Enterprises. Members can register online and create/update the profile for their organisation. SEYH itself uses the directory to collect information about social enterprise in the region to support their work as an infrastucture organisation.
